About me.
I’ve always been drawn to mud and ceramics. That’s why, after studying Graphic Design and Fine Art (Central Saint Martins, London), I went to Japan to learn how to throw on the potter’s wheel.
My pieces are mostly wheel-thrown in stoneware and porcelain clays. I create small-batch tableware, as well as one-off sculptural vases, in an aesthetic that sits between traditional Japanese and playful West.
I aim to create pieces which playfully sit in cosy homes as well as minimalist interiors, occupying the space between craft and design.
